Another great oil from India. It is used within the Ayuvedic system to treat various skin disorders. This oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the Ponga Tree. It is said to assist with the following conditions:

Karanja Oil is said to promote wound healing and it is nematicidal, anti parasidic, anti fungal, bactericide, insecticidal, antiseptic, and helps treat skin ulcers and dandruff. It also has a high content of triglycerides.

I use Karanja oil to superfat all of my Artisan Made Soaps, my Mo' Hair "Get That Itch" products, and my Herbal Rescue products. I also use it on my beagle "Sido" it greatly reduces his itching....my puppy has a serious skin allergy and this mixed with coconut oil greatly reduces his scratching.
